Maryhaven has a strong tradition of providing exceptional professional development opportunities both for our staff and for professionals throughout Ohio.

Through the ADAMH Training and Learning Institute at Maryhaven we are able to offer courses that will meet all the requirements of the licensure board to obtain and maintain your licensure. Maryhaven is accredited by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board (PID# 02-0709-12PVN) and the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board (PID# RCS040503) for continuing education credits.

Our educational offerings focus on professionals in substance abuse treatment and prevention, as well as mental health. Throughout the year we will offer core and elective courses on such topics as CPR/First Aid, Sexual Harassment, Ethics, Dual Diagnosis, HIV/AIDS, Spirituality, Drugs Abuse, Homeless and Gangs .Click on the below link for a current list of courses.

Training Cost/ Payment

Through the ADAMH Training and Learning Institute at Maryhaven we offer half day and full day training courses. The costs for these courses are listed below.

• Half Day Trainings: $30 (Early Bird Registration Discount $25*)

• Full Day Training: $60 (Early Bird Registration Discount $50*)

CEU/RCHS

Maryhaven is approved to provide RCHs by the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board and CEUs by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. The number of continuing education credit hours will be determined by the length of the course, excluding breaks and non-working lunches. A typical half day course includes at least one 15 minute break; a typical full day course includes a one hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks.

Example:

Course Time: 9am to 12pm

CEUs/RCHs: 2.75

Or

Course Time: 9am to 12:15pm

CEUs/RCHs: 3

Facilities

Maryhaven has a cafeteria on-site and vending machines, where you may purchase snacks, pop, water, or lunch. We offer ample free parking on-site.

Cancellation Policy

You will receive a full refund for a written cancellation notice received up to 10 business days prior to the date of the training.  If you need to cancel within 10 business days of the training, you may send a substitute from your organization, or apply the training fee toward another ADAMH Training and Learning Institute (ALTI) event of your choice, scheduled within 4 months of the original training date. (Please note: You must provide notice of cancellation at least one (1) business day prior to the training date to be eligible to apply the training fee to another event.) If you are unable to meet the 10 day cancellation policy, your refund will be assessed an administrative fee of $20.00. All refund requests must be made in writing to the attention of Maryhaven Human Resources. Maryhaven reserves the right to cancel a training program.  In the event a training program is cancelled, Maryhaven will refund the complete training fee.
