The Adult Inpatient Treatment Program (Dan Cannon Hall)
is a variable length of stay, inpatient treatment program for adults.
Patients learn about the illness of addiction and are introduced to the
tools necessary to establish and maintain sobriety. Patients are
involved in a therapeutic environment with an intense schedule on group
counseling, individual counseling, client and family education,
therapeutic recreation, medical and nutritional interventions,
Alcoholics Anonymous and other self help groups.
Adult Outpatient Services offers services that may be
the beginning of the recovery journey or the end of one's journey.
Adult Outpatient Services continues the Maryhaven continuum of care in
providing intensive outpatient programs and general outpatient services.
The African American and Appalachian Men's Intensive
Outpatient Treatment Program focuses on recovery for men of these two
cultural groups, including recognizing and reducing violence in their
lives. Participants follow an intensive treatment schedule but return to
their homes each day. Public transportation fare is provided when
needed.
Maryhaven's Intensive Outpatient Services provides a
four to ten week program designed to provide quality treatment at an
intensive outpatient level of care for adult men and women. There are
several intensive outpatient treatment programs address specific needs -
women with addiction and solicitation issues, individuals with addiction
issues who have family members who want to attend treatment as support.
General Outpatient Services entail a four to ten week
program designed to provide quality treatment at a basic outpatient
level of care.
Family Support groups offers services to family members
and loved ones in order to assist them in their own recovery and build a
stronger family unit.
